Mark is credited with producing, directing, and shooting several award winning documentary shorts and a several well-received feature documentaries. His passion for documentary filmmaking and pursuit of compelling subject matter helped spawn the concept for his award winning feature documentary Into The Air: A Kiteboarding Experience, currently available on Netflix.

Mark formed Mighty Movies out of his passion for meeting interesting people, "talking story" and documenting their slice of life. What started out as a personal challenge to create interesting and purpose-driven slices of life short films turned into his now popular marketing style,  Micro-Docs.
