PHASE ONE CREATURE XJ7: Imperial Japanese Military Unit 371 started with more human like creatures. Testing the boundaries of transplanting body and machine parts. Unit 371 was top secret and performed illegal human experiments before and during WWII. Many human lives were lost in the name of Science and Research for the Imperial Military. Unspeakable atrocities were committed.

PHASE TWO CREATURE XR6: XR6 was created during the test tube and gene splicing stages. Their hopes were to create a more amphibious creature. Sonar was being explored and and the loss of eyes on the creature.

PHASE THREE CREATURE WAR BEAST ZX1: After a decade of research and testing, UNIT 371 "War Beast ZX1" was born from of a test tube embryo. A 10-12' creature that would eventually be scaled up to 70-80'. This beast was in it's final stages when the Bombing of Hiroshima happened and the research was stopped. The secret island lab was shut down and all Creatures were thought to be destroyed...
